At Lagoon Medical Centre, we bulk bill all patients who hold a valid Medicare Card.
However, minor surgical procedures and iron infusions will incur a private fee. With Medicare EasyClaim the rebate is paid back into your account within minutes. Payment can be made easily with Cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card.
Services that are not covered by Medicare include Worker’s Compensation claims, Pre-Employment Medicals and Driver’s License Fitness to Drive medicals. There will be a fee for these services, please contact the clinic directly for costs.

After Hours Appointments: (6pm – 8am Weekdays, Saturday after 1pm, All day Sunday and Public Holidays)
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please let our reception staff know so that
the appointment may be offered to another patient.

If you have tests done, please organise a follow up appointment with the doctor to discuss results and further management.
Patients are contacted for recalls and reminders by our Practice Nurse.
Your medical information is confidential; however, we on occasion forward certain medical information to other medical organisations (i.e. Immunisation Register, Specialists). All information is handled according to the current State legislation. The Privacy Amendment Act and the Australia Privacy Principles. Should you require any further information, please ask to speak to our Practice Manager.
Patient Health Information
In order to maintain confidentiality and to avoid delays, it is our Practice Policy not to interrupt the Doctors during consultations, except in the event of a medical emergency. All patients are asked to make an appointment for non-urgent advice, repeat prescriptions, referrals and most test results.
