Lagoon Medical Centre provides medical consultations both by appointment and by walk-in. No appointment is necessary to see one of our GPs. We will endeavour to make the appointment with your preferred doctor at a time that suits you.

Our practice operates on an appointment system, but urgent/emergency cases will always been seen as a priority.

If you require an extended appointment due to multiple concerns, or if it is an examination for insurance, worker’s compensation, driving medical, pre-employment medical, please advise this to reception.

Online Bookings

Online bookings are easy and convenient with HotDoc. They can be made on your mobile phone, tablet or computer. When you use online bookings for the first time you will need to provide some basic details including

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Appointment Type

Click here to select the day and time of the appointment you wish to make (appointments are available in 10 minute intervals) to be given a booking with any available doctor.

You can also select a particular doctor to see all of their available upcoming appointments.

First Visit

As a new patient at Lagoon Medical Centre, on arrival we ask that you complete a new patient registration.

If you wish to transfer your medical records from your previous surgery, please fill out the form at the reception desk. Our reception team will organise your transfer of medical records. Your previous practice may charge a small fee for this service.

Doctor / Patient relationships are important to us as we strive to offer continuous lifelong care for everyone. Once you have been assigned a regular doctor, we encourage you to keep seeing the same doctor each visit (where possible). We believe continuity of care is an important factor in getting to know our patients.


What to bring to your appointment
  • Medicare/DVA/Pension/Health Care card
  • List of current medication(s)
  • Results of any investigations (e.g. pathology results, radiology results)
