Dr Charles completed his medical degree from the University of Calabar, Nigeria in 1995 and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008.

Dr Charles holds post graduate qualifications in Anesthesia, and Diploma’s in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, Injury Management and Women’s Health.

Dr Charles is also an adjunct senior lecturer at Curtin University Medical School.
